Unity of Mind

“Unity of Mind”
Blessings folk!
Let us take some time in reflecting upon what is being said here…
1 Pe 3:8
Finally,
all of you,
have unity of mind,
sympathy,
brotherly love,
a tender heart,
and a humble mind.
ESV
We have already seen that this is being said to all of us - all Believers.
Then, this instruction, command, statement.
“Have unity of mind.”
If we are truly saved…
If we are true believers…
Then we have this already.
We are of the One Father.
We are of the One Lord.
We are of the One Spirit.
(Romans 12)
We simply have to choose His way over our way.
It is that simple.
We do not have to “whip up” unity.
We are unified.
We can quench this unity.
We must not.
We must walk in the unity of mind that is the Lord’s manifest Presence in His Body.
…to the praise of the glory of His grace…
