“Thanksgive”
Blessings folk!
There is power in the giving of thanks!
Read and see…
Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
Let your reasonableness be known to everyone.
The Lord is at hand;
do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We are instructed…twice…to rejoice in the Lord always.
A major element of rejoicing in the Lord is giving of thanks to Him.
We see this throughout the Word.
We are instructed to let our “reasonableness…gentleness” be known to everyone.
Remember, the Lord is near…at hand.
We are instructed to not be anxious in anything.
Rather than “anxious” we are to make our requests known to God…
“ in everything by prayer and supplication…”
“ with thanksgiving”
Do you see?
Do you choose anxiety or do you choose thanksgiving?
If we choose thanksgiving in prayer and supplication, then what occurs?
The peace of God!
The peace that passes all understanding.
The peace that will guard our hearts in Christ Jesus.
The peace that will guard our minds in Christ Jesus.
Rejoice.
Thanksgive.
Reject anxiety.
Receive peace.
