“Foreknown”
Blessings folk!
Conduct yourself with fear.
Remember that you have been saved from your futile ways by the blood of Jesus!!
Know this about Jesus….and us!
1 Pe 1:20-21
He was foreknown before the foundation of the world
but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you
who through him are believers in God,
who raised him from the dead and gave him glory,
so that your faith and hope are in God.
Jesus was foreknown before the foundation of the world.
Before anything was spoken into existence.
How?
He is God.
Without beginning.
Without end.
How could He be “foreknown”?
Through the wondrous mystery of the Godhead - Father, Son, Spirit.
They “know” each other!
They are One Eternal without beginning nor end.
Jesus was made manifest…took on the form of flesh…in the last times.
We are living in the last times/days.
We have been since Jesus took on the form of His creation via flesh - Hebrews 1.
Why did Jesus do this?
For our sake.
It is through Him that we are Believers in God.
God who raised Jesus from the dead.
God who gave Jesus glory.
God in Whom we have faith and hope…in and through Him.
Profound truth as to who we are…Selah!
