“Entrusted”
Blessings folk!
A Jew is one inwardly…
Rom 2:28-29
For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly,
nor is circumcision outward and physical.
But a Jew is one inwardly,
and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter.
His praise is not from man but from God.

“A Jew” is a matter of the heart.
Circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit.
Not by the letter.
Paul anticipated the questions…
Rom 3:1-2
Then what advantage has the Jew?
Or what is the value of circumcision?
Much in every way.
To begin with, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God.

There is advantage.
There is value.
Much.
In every way…every!
The Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God.
The Word of God.
The commandments, instructions, etc. of God.
They knew the truth.
They knew the Way of the Lord.
God trusted them with His oracles.

With what has the Lord entrusted us?
